Having a ball with Epiphany Crafts

Hiya Friends,

We are having a cross promotion with Tombow this week over on the Epiphany Crafts blog.

For my project this week, I decided to create a layout with a twist on how to use the EC epoxies. Triangles are everywhere lately. In fact I have heard that triangles are the new chevron. So I thought it would be fun to use them on a layout.

Beach Ball fun:

Epiphany Crafts Supplies:

Epiphany Crafts square 25 shape studio tool, square 25 shape bubblecaps

Other Supplies:
kit: Studio Calico: Elmwood park (papers, stickers)
punch: American Crafts (knockouts)
adhesive: Tombow: permanent adhesive dots roller
sewing machine: Brother; thread: Guterman

Technique: I used my Epiphany Crafts square 25 shaped studio maker to make my square epoxies and punches then I cut them into triangles. (genius…truly!!)

I used my Tombow permanent adhesive dots roller to adhere my papers, punched out shapes and epoxies.

I love the look, and I am so glad that the triangle is getting some much need attention right now. It is such a cool shape.
Talk soon :)

Hiya friends,

We are having a Pinterest inspired week over at Epiphany Crafts. We were challenged to find a project on Pinterest that we could draw inspiration from and then recreate a similar project.

Here is my inspiration photo:

Cruising along...

Hi there,

I hope everyone is having a great week. My good friend Suzy West has been staying with me for the last few days and we have been working non-stop on CHA projects for the WOW embossing powders booth. So fun!1 I will be back on next week to share those projects.

I have a fun layout to share with you today using the new Shoreline collection from American Crafts. Have I mentioned already how much I love the Shoreline collection? The colors are so bright and fun and perfect for summer. I loved this little bicycle die cut that came in the remarks die cut shapes pack. It was perfect for these photos I recently took of my daughter on her beach cruiser.

Cruising:

I used my Cameo Silhouette to cut out the sun shapes.

I added some American Crafts glitter tape and punched it with my EK Success zig zag border punch.

TFS!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your summer day!

a quick Hello

Hi there,

I hope your Sunday is off to a great start. My family joined a gym yesterday, and I am super excited about it because they have so many activities for the kids, that they really want to go. We spent the whole day there yesterday. Kalee is old enough to work out on the gym equipment with me while Matt goes to the kid center. The kid center is really cool, they have an indoor playground, basketball and video games. Afterwards, the kids got to repel up the large rock climbing wall that they have there. Then we spent the rest of the day lounging by the pool, ahhh heaven.
They are excited about going back there today. But before we head out I want to share with you a couple of new projects that I made using the Amy Tangerine Sketchbook collection from American Crafts.

Girlfriends layout:
I picked up this cute chevron itty bitty bag from Whisker Graphics and thought that it would look really cute with the green pattern paper. I stamped a circle lace doily stamp from Hero Arts, and added some Maya Road butterflies. Have you noticed the tear strips on AC papers? I love them and add them all the time to my projects. The good times sentiment was a tear strip that I cut into a banner shape and added to my page with a stickpin. Super cute!

and a quick Hello card that I made:
I cut out the scallop background using my Silhouette
I also added some AC chevron ribbon. I love how quickly this came together.

Well that's it for now, my family is headed out to the gym so I will chat with you later!
