a charming housewarming gift

Hi friends,

Today I have some fun projects to share with you from Epiphany Crafts. Over on the EC blog we teamed up with DCWV and Blue Moon Beads all week. Here is what I came up with for the cross promotion.
This charming teapot is perfect for spring and sure to make a great housewarming gift.

Flowerpot with chalkboard plant markers

Tip: I used embossing powder to change the color of my metal settings.

Epiphany Crafts Supplies:
Epiphany Crafts round 14 shape studio maker, round 14 bubblecaps, round 14 cabana setting, oval 25 shape studio maker, oval 25 bubblecap, oval 25 metal setting

Other Supplies:

DCWV Coral Couture stack
Blue moon beads: stone beads, gold chain
Versamark: ink (watermark)
WOW embossing powder: Sierra sunrise embossing powder
Ruby Rock it designs: pearls
Horizon: chalkboard plant markers
Target: flower pot, flowers
other: tulle
adhesive: Helmar’s quick dry 450 liquid glue

Text Me Layout

Epiphany Crafts Supplies:
Epiphany Crafts star 25 shape studio tool, star 25 bubblecaps

Other Supplies:

DCWV dots, plaids and stripes stack
EK success: zig zag border punch, swiss cheese border punch
Die cutting machine: Slice just chillin’ teen card
adhesive: Scotch (ATG), liquid: Helmar’s quick dry 450
other: string, jump rings

Technique:

Did you know that you can pierce through your Epiphany Crafts Bubblecaps to make cute hanging charms? It’s simple, I just take a paper piercer and poke a hole through my bubblecap.
The epoxies are flexible so a standard paper piercer should push right through without any troubles just be sure to not pierce to close to the edge, or the epoxy might tear.

For my next step I attached standard jump rings that I picked up at my local craft supply store and hung my star bubblecaps from string.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my Epiphany Crafts projects today. Stop by the Epiphany Crafts blog today for your chance to win an amazing prize package with two Epiphany Crafts tools, DCWV paper stacks and more!

Spring memories album last pages

Hi friends,

I'm here today to share the last few pages of my spring memories album that I made for Ruby Rock-it designs. I printed off some pictures of spring flowers that grow in my neighborhood and added them to the last two pages of my book.

and here is a look at all of the book pages.

I would also like to share a fun tip with you on how I created the banner flag on the front cover of my album.

First I took some bamboo skewers found in my kitchen pantry, and a banner from the Nostalgia collection.

with my scissors I cut 1 piece off of my banner.

last, using liquid glue I adhered my 'banner piece' to my bamboo skewer to make a fun flag for the front of my album.

I hope that you enjoyed my tip and spring memories album. Thanks for stopping by today!

a peek of whats to come..

Hi friends,
I hope that your Wednesday is off to a good start. I just got the kids off to school and now I have some time to play!
I have a few sneaks to share with you today, and a fun layout that I created for an October Afternoon challenge.
First up, here are a few quick peeks of projects that I have been working on for Epiphany Crafts.

I will be back on Friday to post the full projects.

and now for my layout...
October Afternoon was having a fun creative burst
sketch challenge on their blog.
Here is what I created for the challenge.

I added confetti, cork and doilies to my creative sunburst (3 things that I have been obsessed with lately). I hope you enjoy and come back on Friday for my full Epiphany Crafts reveal.

so sweet together

Hi scrappy friends,

I would like to share a recent layout that I completed last week with you. I used my Slice (Making Memories) to cut out all the fun shapes. I am hoping to one day very soon get a Silhouette Cameo, but this will do for now :)

Sweet Together

I used papers from Studio Calico's new classic calico, abroad and take note collections.

Here is a closeup:

I cut most of these shapes with the Just Chillin' Teen card and the word 'together' from the basic shapes card. I added some Ormolu (fabric swatch and flair) and some brads from the Dear Lizzy collection. I had so much fun creating this, I hope you like it too. Thanks for stopping by!

a little country charm in your life....

Hi friends,

Today I am sharing my very last project that I made for my DT term with GCD Studios. I used their brand new Country Charm collection for this project.

She's got style layout:

I love the bright color palette and fun patterns in this collection. One of my favorite papers in the collection is the paper country bloom paper. I loved the fun flowers on this paper so I chose to fussy cut one out to use as a page element. After cutting it out, I covered it with clear ultra high embossing powder from WOW embossing powder company. Then adhered to my page with foam squares.

Here is a close up of the flower:

I love the glossy shine that it gives it. So fun! What will you be inspired to make with this collection?

Spring Memories book

Hi friends,

I'm here today to share a mini album that I am making for Spring using Ruby Rock-it designs. I love the Spring weather here in California and the last few days have been warm and sunny and perfect for long walks around the neighborhood.

Earlier this month I received the new Ruby Rock-it August Moon mini album. I knew once I saw it that I wanted to make a mini book about Spring.

I would like to share the first few pages of my Spring mini album with you.

I used papers from the Nostalgia line in my book.

and I added some Fundamentals vellum and Bella! Bling

Here is the front cover of my album:

I really love how the vellum and bling looks along with the Nostalgia line, so elegant and pretty. I also added some doillies and crepe paper streamers (that I picked up at my local party store) to the cover.

For my second page in the album I added a pack of sunflower seeds (one of my favorite flowers). And on the third page of my album I added pictures of wild mushrooms that grow freely in our backyard during Spring.

I will be back later in the month to share more pages of my album with you.

Thanks for stopping by today.

a little stamping project...

Hi friends,
I hope that your first week of April is off to a great start. My daughter is on spring break this week but my son is in school. So annoying I wish all of the schools in our district were on the same schedule. Anyways we are pulling my son out of school tomorrow to spend the day at Six Flags. Should be a fun trip!
I wanted to share with you a little stamping project that I created this past weekend using stamps and embossing powders from WOW embossing powders.

I decided to try a new trick and stamp and emboss on cork paper.
I used the mini brocade background stamp and metalline green embossing powder.

I was so thrilled with the outcome!
Here is the full project:
Friends layout:

Did you know that you can emboss on many different materials besides paper. Chipboard, fabric, wood and metal all work great as surfaces for embossing.
Thanks for letting me share, what will you be inspired to emboss?
